Most Calgary garage makeovers run on a straightforward schedule. Here is a typical single-day makeover from start to finish.
The GarageScape crew arrives and does a quick walk-through with you to confirm the plan and note anything that requires specific handling.
Everything in the garage is categorized. This typically takes two to three hours for a typical Calgary double-car garage. You make the keep/donate/dispose decisions. We handle the logistics.
With the garage clear, we deep clean the floor, walls, and ceiling. Stains are treated. Dust and grime are cleared. The space is ready for installation.
Shelving and storage units go up. This is the longest installation phase. Wall anchors are properly set, units are levelled, and overhead racks (if included) are secured to ceiling joists.
Sealer or epoxy coating is applied to the floor. Drying time varies by product and temperature. In most cases the floor is walkable within four to six hours and vehicle-ready within 24 hours.
Items from the keep pile are placed in their designated spots. Everything is labelled. We walk you through the finished system before leaving.
